Me T comes from real-world grit and team-driven roots.

Before music and SMV, he's lived a few lives, when he was younger he was a quarterback who grew up competing alongside some incredible teammates — first at Bella Vista High School, then Sacramento City College, and finally at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he became a team captain and a playmaker who treated every game like it mattered more than anything else. 

That mindset never left.

Off the field, Tom is someone who lives close to the things that keep him grounded — basketball runs, time in nature, the ocean, surfing when he can, and staying connected to family and the people who’ve been part of his story. If you’ve crossed paths with him at a game, on a beach, in a classroom, or somewhere along the way… there’s a good chance you’d recognize the same person behind Me T.

Tom calls teaching computers and technology his first career — even though he’s still in it. For nearly three decades, he’s worked inside classrooms filled with every kind of student you can imagine: gifted creators, kids who needed someone to believe in them, teens carrying more life on their shoulders than most adults ever see.

The work gave him access to powerful tools, evolving technology, and an endless stream of young talent. More importantly, it gave him a front-row seat to the struggles and dreams of students who often just needed a chance, a mentor, or a spark.

For over 30 years, Mr. Sullivan has shown up, stayed grounded, and done the job with honesty and commitment. His world has always revolved around a few constants:

computers and problem-solving,
music and storytelling,
and a mind that never stops generating ideas.

That blend — technology, creativity, youth, emotion, and purpose — shaped everything that came after. It’s the foundation beneath SMV, Karaoke Star, and the next chapter he’s building.

2026 is the year we stop flirting with the idea and actually move toward it.

Me T is pivoting toward real artists — the kind of people who want a shot, who want mentorship, who want a path that isn’t locked behind gatekeepers. Karaoke Star becomes the training ground, the studio warm-up room, the confidence workshop, and the first step toward something bigger.

We’re using this format to help singers develop feel, timing, personality, and stage presence — and when someone is ready, they’ll know it. The goal is simple:

give opportunity,
build belief,
and launch real careers.

And yeah — this whole thing comes with a personal challenge too.

Tom has always been more reserved by nature. Quiet. Thoughtful. Humble. Pulling a character like Me T into the light means pushing past that shyness and maybe — just maybe — stepping up to the mic himself at some point. If this project is about courage, then he has to show some too.

Because everyone deserves the chance to create their own alter-ego…
their own brave version of themselves…
their own hero they can step into when life gets heavy.

Karaoke Star isn’t just a show — it’s an escape hatch, a growth path, and a creative sandbox for anyone bold enough to try.
